Perhaps the best morning out I have had - perfect rays of early morning light and clouds that reflected the light almost perfectly.
On this morning, there was a ghostly calm amongst the round rocks of Burleigh Heads as a storm rolled in from the distance. Waves crashed as I climbed closer to the water only to be pushed back up high to the rock I was perched upon.
This image is taken on a very early morning as the sun rose, before sunrise on Dicky Beach. The wreck of the SS Dicky rests amongst the waves. The subtle pre-dawn light illuminates this aged wreck.
